Cheap Clear Packing Tapes – 48mm x 75m Acrylic adhesive tapes are the cost effective option when taping up your shipping boxes and is the standard for most eCommerce fulfillment centres.

Kraft Paper Packing Tapes – if you are after a Kraft Paper Tape then our 48mm x 50m hot melt adhesive is the choice for you. Better for the environment as it is made of Kraft Paper and give that matte feel.

Compostable Tapes – 50mm x 80m Natural rubber adhesive with compostable bio film make this tape the most environmentally friendly packing tape on the market. The tape will be biodegradable and will break down naturally so it is a must have for Eco-friendly businesses.

 

How do I Label my Fragile Goods so it is shipped with care?

Very important that you let your courier/shipping company know that you are shipping Fragile Goods. Breakages are common for glassware, ceramics, electronics and can cause heartache not just for the business owner but also for their customers. Awesome Pack have a few options you can choose below:

Fragile Printed Tapes in Plastic – 48mm x 75m acrylic adhesive tapes are the most common way for eCommerce business owners to tell their shipper that their goods need special attention. Fragile Printed Tapes made from plastic film is the cheapest way to package fragile goods.

Fragile Printed Kraft Paper Tapes – 48mm x 50m hot melt adhesive tapes are the Eco-friendly version of the plastic fragile tapes however it is at least 6 times the price.

Fragile Printed Labels – with 550 labels on a roll and each sticker is 50x76mm, this is a great alternative to the Fragile tapes. It is also made from paper so much better for the environment. This vibrant sticker will be more visible but the drawback is that you may need to stick a few on the parcel to ensure it is visible on all sides.

 

What protective cushion is available when shipping my fragile goods inside a box?

When you put in your fragile goods inside a box you may need some cushioning material to protect your goods during transit or you may need some void fill to ensure your item doesn’t move around inside the mailing box.

Bubble Wrap – This is the most common protective cushion used in the eCommerce industry, it is super cheap and does a great job protecting the wrapped item. It comes in different widths to suit all business needs ranging from 250mm, 300mm, 375mm, 500mm, 750mm, 1500mm. The downside to this is the negative environmental impact given it is completed made from plastic.

Bio Fill/Packing Peanuts – This type of void fill is very common and at the same time it is Eco-friendly as it is made from corn starch and soluble in water. Relatively cheap but it does take a lot of room to store. Available in both 100 Litres packaged in cardboard box that you can pour the Packing peanuts into your parcel box or you can buy the 400 Litre bulk buy at super cheap prices.

HoneyComb Kraft Paper Wrap – New and innovative product in the protective packaging space, simply it is plain kraft paper cut into diamond or honeycomb shape to give the cushioning effect. Available in both with a Dispenser box or without given you have a dispenser. Completely made from Kraft paper so it is Eco-friendly but you made need to wrap your item a couple of times for the same cushion effect as bubble wrap.

 

How do I secure goods properly on a pallet?

Clear or Black stretch film is the perfect wrapping material for pallets. Our shrink wraps are 23 micron thick and very stretchable making it ideal for hand wrapping pallets to ensure your pallet of goods arriving at its destination in one piece. Expert tip on how to wrap a pallet is to tightly wrap the boxes by leaning towards the edges of the pallet and also ensure you wrap the pallet together with the boxes on top of it. The most common product is the clear stretch film as it is see through so the goods are visible even after wrapping, while some businesses prefer the black stretch film so no one can see the boxes secured inside which is perfect for valuable goods.
